Buyer questions, answered by plant

Sixteen plants are measured in this directory. Nobody reads sixteen profiles. So this page re-indexes them by the question you actually have, and names the plant that answers it.

How to use it. Each question below is answered with evidence, not opinion: a claim, the plants that support it, and the profile where the measurement lives. Where the honest answer is “no plant here publishes that”, the page says so — and that absence is itself the most useful thing in the directory, because it tells you what you will have to ask for by email instead of reading.

The one-line summary. Sixteen factories — eight of which publish revenue, totalling ¥48.8 billion — collectively publish: five layer counts, seven capacity figures, two working sitemaps, one complete hreflang set, and zero certificate numbers. Every question below is a variation on that sentence.

5 / 16state a layer count or range
7 / 16publish any capacity figure
0 / 16publish a certificate number
0 / 16state their USCC on their own site

1 · Who is the legal entity behind this brand?

No plant in this directory publishes its USCC on its own website. Every profile reconstructs it from a registry extract, an annual report or a filing — which is fine for a buyer reading a directory and useless for a buyer reading the supplier's site. Three examples show how far apart brand and entity can sit:

PlantWhat the site calls itWhat the registry says
Champion Asia“Guangdong Junya Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.” on /en/; “Champion Asia Tech” in body copy广东骏亚电子科技股份有限公司, USCC 914413007820108867 — audited English name Guangdong Champion Asia Electronics CO.,LTD.
Shengyi Electronics“Dongguan Shengyi Electronics Co., Ltd.” — the pre-2021 name生益电子股份有限公司, USCC 91441900618113146X
GloryskyChinese legal name on an English page惠州市特创电子科技股份有限公司, USCC 91441323562614880G; no English name published anywhere

For how to do this check yourself in three minutes, see the 20-minute verification guide, step 1.

2 · Which plants publish a layer count?

The full breakdown, plant by plant — including what the ranges are attached to — is on the high-layer-count page.

PlantClaimWhere it comes from
Champion Asia1–108 layersIts 2025 annual report's description of the manufacturing range
Yingchuangli (IQE)2–48 layersCompany site
Jingming2–24 layers (claimed)City commissioning record and company statements
Suntak2–78 layers — for the Thai plant, not yet builtCompany site, factory page
Kaishengshiup to 10 layersCompany site

The other eleven say nothing. That includes Victory Giant, which builds AI accelerator boards at ¥10.7bn of revenue and does not state a maximum layer count anywhere. If your stack-up is 24 layers and you need to know whether a plant can quote it, the answer is not on the website.

3 · Which plants let me size my order against them?

Seven of sixteen publish a capacity number, and they use four different units — which is why capacity is the least comparable figure in the industry.

PlantFigure as publishedUnit
Suntak240,000 / 120,000 / 140,000 / 100,000 / 120,000 / 50,000 / 15,000 / 100,000 — per factorym²/month
Puruisen60,000m²/month
Jingming~50,000, targeting 100,000m²/month
Zhichao3.5 million designedm²/year
Haiying300,000m²/year
Shengda Xinxing600,000m²/year
Kaishengshi1 million statedm²/year
Suntak (group)10.62 millionm²/2025

A monthly number multiplied by twelve is not a yearly number — design capacity, actual output and finished-panel area are three different things. The quote-structure guide explains why the unit matters as much as the figure.

4 · Is it certified?

Every plant here claims certification and none publishes a certificate number. The claims range from specific to vague:

PlantWhat is claimedWhat is published
Champion AsiaISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, QC 080000:2017, IATF 16949:2016 (in the annual report)No number, body, scope or expiry
XunjiexingIATF 16949, ISO 13485, GJB 9001C (military)No number, body, scope or expiry
Hong'an XingshengISO 9001 and IATF 16949Claim only
PuruisenIATF 16949Claim only
GloryskySix state designations, including 专精特新“小巨人”Designations, not quality certificates
Kinwong, Suntak, Shengyi, Victory GiantManagement systems mentioned or impliedNothing measurable on the pages fetched

This is what step 3 of the verification guide exists for: check the number in the issuing registry, not the logo on the site. A state designation such as 专精特新小巨人 is real and checkable, but it is awarded on innovation and scale criteria — it is not an IATF file.

5 · Can it ship from outside China?

Four plants already have, or are building, a non-China base — and the timing of each is the detail that decides a 2027 award.

PlantBaseStatus as published
Champion AsiaVietnam1.8m m²/yr in phase one — the most concrete figure here
Shengyi ElectronicsChachoengsao, ThailandUnder construction; no qualification date published
KinwongThailandListed among seven bases; no timeline
SuntakThailand2–78 layers, 8-order HDI, 200,000 m²/month planned on 112,000 m² of land

None publishes a qualification date. Ask for one in writing — a groundbreaking is not a first article.

6 · Which plants already work with export customers?

PlantExport shareSource
Shengyi Electronics51.79% (H1 2026)Interim report
Champion Asia25.7%2025 annual report
Xunjiexing21.46%2025 annual report
PuruisenExports to EU, Hong Kong and Japan — share not statedCompany site

Export share is the closest proxy this directory has to “can they handle my documentation”. Xunjiexing is the sharpest case: a fifth of its revenue leaves China and it publishes no English website at all.

7 · Which plant fits a prototype, and which fits volume?

Prototype capability, lead times and the missing MOQ are covered in full on the quick-turn page; process-level comparisons are on the capability index.

This is the question where the directory divides cleanly, because the two ends of the market are different businesses with different margins.

If your order is…Look atWhy

High-layer, high-order HDI at volumeVictory Giant, Shengyi, KinwongAI-server and switch work at ¥9.5–15.3bn revenue; margins 22–31%
One supplier for rigid, flex and metal-coreKinwongThree board technologies under one management system, thirteen factories
A boxed product, not a bare boardChampion AsiaPCB + FPC + SMT + finished-product assembly across eight plants

8 · Is this plant too big — or too small — for my order?

The number that answers this is not headcount, it is gross margin, because margin tells you which band the plant's pricing is built for.

PlantRevenueGross marginRead it as
Shengyi¥9.49bn31.16%Pricing power, qualified programmes. A 500 m² order is a rounding error.
Victory Giant¥10.73bn22.72%Broad mix at scale; same conclusion, less pricing power in the mix
Kinwong¥15.31bn21.59%Volume across thirteen factories; new plants compressing margin
Suntak¥7.54bn21.13%Same margin as Kinwong, but 4.19% ROE — paying for nine factories and a tenth
Champion Asia¥2.54bnLoss yearCapacity built ahead of demand; the most flexible on price right now
Xunjiexing¥689m14.43%Prototype economics; volume at these prices does not fund capex

The quote-structure guide explains why two unit prices from two of these plants cannot be compared before the nine line items are aligned.

9 · What does a machine see when it looks at them?

Measured directly on 1 November 2026 for the seven Pearl River Delta plants — the group where every site was fetched and parsed the same day. This is the layer that decides whether a plant appears in an assistant's answer at all.

SignalCountWho
Publishes structured data (JSON-LD)0 / 7—

Has a working sitemap.xml2 / 7Xunjiexing (208 URLs), Glorysky; Suntak returns a 404 page with HTTP 200

Publishes an English page6 / 7and none of the six names its current legal entity correctly
Carries a registry industry code that says PCB0 / 63973, 3979, 3824, 3989, 3990, 81 — six codes, six different wrong answers

The mechanics of why this matters are in why AI assistants recommend the factories they do. The short version: a plant with no structured data and no correct language declaration is invisible to the layer that answers “who makes PCBs in Huizhou” — regardless of how good its boards are.

10 · What can no profile here tell me?

Everything that requires seeing the plant. Yield, first-pass rate, AOI and X-ray coverage, impedance tolerance on your stack-up, how the line handles a change notice, whether the cleanroom is as clean as the photograph. A profile measures what is published and what a machine can fetch; it cannot measure manufacturing. Two things follow:

Use this directory to build the shortlist and the question list, not the decision. The value of sixteen measured plants is that you arrive at the audit already knowing which six questions nobody answered in public.

Then walk the line with the factory audit checklist. It is built for one plant, one day, no interpreter — and its section 6 is about comparing what you saw to the paperwork you were sent.

Where the sixteen are

Seven in the Pearl River Delta — Huizhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan — measured together on the delta cluster page. Nine in one industrial estate in Suining, Sichuan, on the Suining cluster page. Both pages use the same method and the same field set, which is what makes the comparison across them worth anything.

How this index was built

One rule: no claim without a profile behind it. Every cell above resolves to a measurement recorded in a factory profile, and every profile records its sources, its measurement date and what it did not check. Where the answer was “nobody publishes this”, the count is given rather than a guess. Compiled 2026-11-01 from the sixteen profiles on this site.
