<html lang> on either language · robots.txt 404 · sitemap.xml 404What this factory is. A 40-year-old PCB manufacturer in Dongcheng, Dongguan, incorporated in 1985 as a joint venture and listed on the STAR Market on 25 February 2021 as 688183. It is a subsidiary of 生益科技 (600183), China's largest laminate maker: the parent holds ¥523.5m of the ¥831.8m registered capital, 62.94% (arithmetic on the registry shareholder schedule). Three manufacturing sites: Dongguan Dongcheng, Ji'an in Jiangxi, and Chachoengsao in Thailand, the last still under construction.
Why a buyer should look twice. In 2025 the company doubled revenue to ¥9.494 billion and quadrupled net profit to ¥1.473 billion at a 31.16% gross margin — numbers that put it among the most profitable board plants of its size in China. In the first half of 2026, 51.79% of revenue was booked outside China. For a North American buyer that matters more than the headline size: this is a plant whose quality system, documentation and logistics are already shaped by export customers, not a domestic plant learning to export.
What the record shows that the website does not. The Chinese site has no robots.txt, no sitemap.xml, no <html lang> attribute, no canonical and no structured data. The English site is titled Dongguan Shengyi Electronics Co., Ltd. — the name of the subsidiary before its 2021 restructuring, not the listed company's registered English name. A buyer's assistant reading that page is told about an entity that no longer exists under that name.

| 13 · Parent and vertical integration | Majority-owned by 生益科技 (600183), the country's largest copper-clad laminate producer This is the most consequential fact in the profile for a buyer: laminate supply is the tightest input in a high-layer programme, and this plant's parent makes laminate. It is also the reason to ask which laminate grades the plant can get first when the market is short. | Registry; parent company filings |

Doubling revenue in twelve months is not a sales achievement; it is a capacity and yield achievement. A board plant can only double if the high-layer lines were already qualified, the laminate was already allocated, and the customer programmes were already through first article. This one had all three, because it has been making high-density multi-layer boards since the 1980s and counting servers, network equipment and aerospace among its sectors.
The financial signature is unusually clean for the industry: 31.16% gross margin and a 29.74% return on equity, with the loss year of 2023 already behind it. That combination is what pricing power looks like when a plant is on the right side of a demand cycle and holds a laminate advantage through its parent.
What the site will not tell you: layer count, HDI order, panel sizes, copper weight ceiling, monthly area capacity, or the qualification route from Dongguan to the Ji'an plant if your volume outgrows the first site. Those are the questions the profile cannot answer because the company does not publish them — and they are exactly the questions a serious buyer asks in the second meeting.
Four, and they are strong. A STAR listing since February 2021 with audited accounts and a public filing trail. A 1985 incorporation with the same principal site in Dongcheng. A majority shareholder that is the country's largest laminate producer, which is a supply-chain fact rather than a marketing one. And export revenue above half of the total in H1 2026, which means the documentation, packaging, labelling and traceability a North American buyer needs are already in routine use.
The gap is documentary and specific: no certificate numbers, no layer capability, no capacity. For a plant this size that is a choice, not an oversight — the information is in the annual report and the customer audits, not on the website. Ask for the IATF 16949 and ISO 27001 certificate numbers with scope and expiry, and for the layer ceiling on the line that would run your stack-up.
Measured on 1 November 2026. Neither language version of the site declares a language: the Chinese homepage and the English /en/ page both return 200 with no lang attribute on the <html> element at all. There is no hreflang pair, no canonical, no structured data and, on the Chinese page, no Open Graph tags. /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml both return 404 — the site has no declared crawl policy and no index of its own pages.
The identity failure is sharper than the technical one. The English page is titled Dongguan Shengyi Electronics Co., Ltd., which is the name the subsidiary carried before the 2021 restructuring. The listed entity is 生益电子股份有限公司 / SHENGYI ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD., with USCC 91441900618113146X. A machine reading the English page learns three things — a company name, a city and a stock code — and two of them belong to a name that no longer exists in the registry.
Why this matters commercially. More than half of this plant's revenue comes from outside China. The buyers who generate that revenue are searching in English, and the only English page the company publishes describes a former entity, in a document that does not declare what language it is in.
Profitability and legibility are unrelated, and this is the extreme case in the directory: the most profitable plant per unit of revenue, with the least machine-readable identity. A buyer with a relationship already knows this company. A buyer without one — arriving through an assistant, a search or a directory — finds an English page named after a former subsidiary, in an HTML document that never says it is English.
Four more delta plants are measured the same way, on the same day: in Huizhou, Victory Giant (胜宏科技, 300476) — ¥10.731bn revenue, registered as a chip maker — Glorysky (惠州市特创电子科技) — no HTTPS, registered as a repair shop — and Champion Asia (骏亚科技, 603386) — HTTP-only with three English names; and in Shenzhen, Xunjiexing (迅捷兴, 688655) — prototype-to-volume across three bases, no English site.
This is one of 16 measured plants in this directory. To compare it by question rather than by name — who publishes a layer count, who publishes a certificate number, whether the plant is too big for your order — use the buyer-question index. The rest of the region is measured together on the Pearl River Delta cluster page; the visit itself is covered by the factory audit checklist; the process view — who claims HDI, substrate, metal-core or flex — is the capability index.
