What this factory is. A listed PCB fabricator — Beijing Stock Exchange, 920060 — registered in Kunshan with three production bases: Kunshan itself, Dongtai in Jiangsu, and Prachinburi in Thailand. 2025 revenue ¥1.18bn. It runs single-sided, double-sided, multilayer, metal-core and HDI product lines, and sells mostly into automotive, consumer electronics (it is a main supplier to the Japanese game-console market), industrial control and appliances.
Why it belongs in a shortlist. Very few plants this size publish a checkable trail. This one has annual reports, investor Q&A records that name capacity by site and by month, and a stock code that maps every claim to a filing. A buyer who needs a supplier big enough to absorb volume, and auditable enough to defend internally, has unusually good material here.
What is not confirmed. A certificate number for any of the six standards it claims. The capacity of the Kunshan site itself — every published square-metre figure belongs to Dongtai or Thailand. MOQ, lead time, and US customs records. Nothing on this page is estimated.

Four fields are open. Certificate numbers (ask for the IATF and UL certificates, then look the numbers up in the issuing registry — not on the website, because the website publishes none). Kunshan-site capacity (the number exists internally; ask for it in square metres per month, split by layer class). MOQ and lead time (ask production against your own stack-up). US customs records (a lookup, not a question). These are open questions for a buyer to ask, not a negative rating.
Both figures are real and they measure different things. 234 is the social-insurance headcount filed for the Kunshan legal entity in its 2025 annual return. 1,409 is the consolidated group headcount in the 2026 report, which includes the Dongtai plant (run by 江苏广谦电子) and the Thailand subsidiary. A buyer who looks this company up on a business database sees “234 insured” and reasonably concludes it is a small plant. It is not. That misreading is the single most likely error made about this company, and it is worth knowing before a sourcing meeting rather than during one.
The arithmetic shows which denominator belongs to the output. Dongtai runs 150,000 m² a month, or 1,800,000 m² a year:
| Denominator | m² per person per year | Reads as |
|---|---|---|
| 234 insured (Kunshan entity) | 7,692 | 13.4× the audited benchmark — impossible for a plant running multilayer FR4 and HDI |
| 1,409 group employees | 1,277 | 2.2× the benchmark — plausible for a mix weighted towards single- and double-sided boards |
| Audited benchmark in this directory (mid-complexity plant) | 572 | multilayer FR4 — the reference point these ratios are judged against |
Only the group denominator produces a ratio a real factory could hit. That is the evidence that 234 is an administrative number attached to one legal entity, not the operating workforce — and it is also why the capacity figure above is filed under Dongtai rather than under Kunshan. The directory keeps both numbers visible instead of publishing the flattering one.
The headline capacity is not in Kunshan. As of June 2026 the 150,000 m²/month — 140,000 of double-sided and multilayer plus 10,000 of HDI — is the Dongtai plant, expanded through the first half of the year. The Kunshan site, which is the listed entity and the address on every filing, publishes no capacity figure at all. Two further lines are dated and not yet running: Dongtai plant 2 at 15,000 m²/month of HDI, ¥500M for phase one, trial production expected in Q4 2027; and Thailand phase 1 at 50,000 m²/month of single-sided board, trial production expected in Q1 2027.
One more number needs reconciling before an audit. The 2024 IPO raised money for a “new-energy vehicle supporting high-end PCB project” described as 500,000 m² a year of rigid boards, total investment ¥255M. Measured against the group’s current 1,800,000 m² a year, that project is smaller than the capacity already running — which means it is either a specific product line, a specific site, or a figure that predates the Dongtai expansion. Ask which. A capacity plan whose parts do not add up to the total is normal in Chinese filings; a buyer should still be the one who asks.
This is the part of the profile a GEO buyer will find hardest to believe. The company turns over ¥1.18bn, holds a stock listing, ships into Tesla and Nintendo supply chains — and its entire public web presence is a Chinese-only template site that fails on four technical counts at once:
| Check | Result on 2026-11-03 | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| HTTPS | Certificate fails validation; the browser shows a warning before the page loads | Every overseas buyer's first click is an error screen, and some corporate networks block the domain outright |
| robots.txt | “File not found”, 15 bytes | No crawl directives, no sitemap declaration — a crawler has nothing to follow |
| sitemap.xml | 302 redirect to the 404 page | No URL inventory; discovery depends on the crawler guessing |
| English version | /en returns 404; no hreflang; lang="zh"; title = company name only | An English-language model has no text to quote except third-party databases — which is exactly where “234 employees” comes from |
The consequence is specific rather than abstract. Ask an assistant “who makes automotive PCBs in Kunshan at scale” and it has two sources to work with: a Chinese template page it cannot parse into capabilities, and business databases that report a 234-person headcount. Neither says 150,000 m² a month, IATF 16949, or Tesla-tier customers. The company is invisible in the exact channel its next export customer now uses first.
The fixes are ordinary and cheap, in this order: a valid certificate and an HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect; a real robots.txt that declares a sitemap; a generated sitemap; and an English capability page with the layer count, the monthly capacity split by site, and the certificate numbers. That is a week of work for a company this size — and it would make every field this profile had to leave open, fillable from the company’s own site.
Six standards are claimed — ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, QC 080000, CQC, UL — and not one certificate number appears anywhere public. This directory sees the same pattern in fourteen of the sixteen plants measured in its 2026-11-01 sweep, so it is an industry habit rather than a company failing. It still changes what a buyer can do: a claim without a number cannot be checked in an issuing registry, so the only honest status is “claimed”.
The check takes ten minutes and it is worth doing on the one claim that gates automotive work. Ask for the IATF 16949 certificate, read the certification body and the number, then look the number up — and read the scope wording. A certificate that excludes design, or covers only some processes, is a valid certificate and a different supplier. Adjacent profiles in this directory show both patterns; the certificate check walks through the registry lookup, and China-plus-one covers what the Thailand base does and does not change about that scope.
| Question | Why it comes at this position in the list |
|---|---|
| 1 · Which site would make my boards, and what is that site’s capacity? | Kunshan, Dongtai and Thailand are three different factories with three different cost bases and, after 2027, three different tariff positions. The 150,000 m² figure belongs to one of them. |
| 2 · IATF 16949 certificate number and scope wording | It gates automotive work, it is claimed, and it is unpublished. This is the single fastest field to close — and the fastest to falsify. |
| 3 · Layer ceiling and HDI stage in production, not in sample | First- and second-stage HDI ship in volume; third is sampled and fourth is in qualification. Pricing and yield follow the production stage, not the sample stage. |
| 4 · Share of revenue from automotive vs consumer | Game-console volume and automotive volume behave differently under allocation pressure. When capacity is tight, the smaller customer finds out which segment it is in. |
| 5 · Lead time and MOQ on your stack-up | Neither is published. Ask against your layer count and panel size, not against a generic board. |
| 6 · When Thailand switchover happens, and what moves first | Single-sided board moves in 2027; multilayer and HDI stay domestic for longer. That sequence decides whether your part number is affected by the transfer at all. |
This is the seventeenth PCB profile in this directory, added 2026-11-03 and the first from the Kunshan cluster. The census pages — capability index, certificate check, China-plus-one, capacity versus audited output — are sweeps dated 2026-11-01 over the first sixteen plants; this profile enters the next sweep and is not counted in their percentages. To compare by question rather than by name, use the buyer-question index; the visit itself is covered by the factory audit checklist.
